Putting Tip #47

This putting tip is similar to the Ball Mark putting drill. The difference is this putting drill involves putting to a hole not a ball mark.

First, set a ball 1 foot from a hole. Place your putter behind the ball and stick a tee in the ground just off the toe of the putter and just off the heel of the putter. Using your power arm only, rear arm, putt 3 balls in to the hole between the two tees. Then using a normal putt stroke, putt 3 more balls in to the hole between the two tees. Repeat the process from 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 feet. This drill promotes a square face at impact.
